P.A.C.O. is a desktop application that facilitates the completion of tax models of the Autonomous Community of Murcia (CARM). With similar characteristics to the AEAT PADRE program, it’s adapted to the needs of CARM tax models presenting a friendly, ergonomic and highly functional interface.

Since his first release in 1997, P.A.C.O. has had many changes and improvements, making it the primary application used by the administrative agencies, consultants and notaries to generate tax models. It allows the completion of all existing tax models in the CARM for the presentation of the Property Transfer Tax, Stamp Duty, Donations and Inheritance. It includes batch mode processing and it allows communication with other applications to import and export information.

Its use in the Region of Murcia is widespread and in recent years it’s being sued by professionals from other autonomous communities that need to file taxes in the Region of Murcia. There are about 2500 professionals authorized to use P.A.C.O., with an approximated volume of 2000 annual activations. The authorization request and P.A.C.O. download are performed through the e-Tributos

As the technology used, P.A.C.O. is developed in Java version 1.6 and uses Firebird as embedded database.  It can be installed independently on any computer with Windows or Linux OS, but it can also be installed on a network. Thus, several computers that have installed P.A.C.O. share the same database.
